212th Highlights
In late 2022 I joined a Star Wars "StartSim" unit in Arma 3 called the 212th Attack Battalion. After some time, I decided to start editing videos for the 212th and quickly organized a whole team of editors to help out.
The structure of the Highlights is inspired by the videos from SovietWomble which include motion tracking, subtitles, and memes.
".EXE"
My editing journey took me to some freelance work on Fiverr, resulting in the ".EXE" video style. It was heavily inspired by a YouTuber called Paluluman. These videos were designed to keep the viewer glued to their screens by constantly including audio effects and memes.
Cypher
For a brief time I had the honor to edit for Solo Wing Cypher / Cypherius, an Arma 3 YouTuber. Here is where I learned how to properly motion track, create appealing subtitles, and control the pacing of these kinds of videos.
Cinematics
Just like the Highlights series, the Cinematic project was made while editing for the 212th Attack Battalion.
The structure of these videos goes in the direction of moviemaking. They are recorded according to a script and have sound design and some basic color correction.
